I think the biggest problem with sentencing is that it is viewed as a punishment for the committal of a crime. The main objective of sentencing needs to be rehabilitation. After all isnt this why we have so some prisons to begin with? In hopes of rehabilitating the prisoner so that when they ar released rachis into society they can adapt to life over again and in some cases better only due to the come back-and-take they receive patch incarcerated. I strongly feel homogeneous the system is set for the convicted to fail once they argon back in society. For example an inmate can gain their GED while incarcerated to make them feel like they have accomplished something and give the inmate a sense of hope and then when they are released into society they are greeted by closed doors and establishments that refuse to plight convicted felons. In my opinion if the system was set up for them to pull ahead there would be more legal opportunities readily for sale and illegal activity wouldnt look like the musical mode to go.
I would consider myself to be a conservative escaped when it comes to ideology.



I feel things should go in stages the conservative authority feels like any repeat offender has to be dealt with securely because their first time didnt seem to do the billet but at the same time the liberal post feels like there isnt enough opportunities for people released to force out toward an acceptable living.
